The Public Transport System in the Hague
The public transport network in the Hague consists of several bus- and tram lines. This network is mainly operated by HTM. This public transport company runs no less than 12 tram lines and 8 bus lines in the city and the surrounding area. Furthermore, the public transport company Connexxion also operates several bus lines in the region.
Explore the Political Center of the Netherlands by Tram
The easiest way to discover the Hague is by tram. The most popular tourist attractions are easily reachable by tram, such as Madurodam or the Binnenhof. Not only do the trams take you around the city center, they also connect the center with the various surrounding neighbourhoods. Would you like to spend the day at the beach or at the Kurhaus? No problem: the tram swiftly takes you from the center of the Hague to the coast in Scheveningen. It is even possible to travel to Delft and Zoetermeer, two nearby cities. In Zoetermeer, these trams are known as RandstadRail.
